- Language Preferences: Your selected app language
1.2 Google Analytics Demographics (Optional)
If you are signed in to a Google account on your device, we may collect demographic information including:
- Age range
- Gender
- Interests
This data is collected through Google Signals and is aggregated. You can opt out of this collection through your
Google account settings or device settings.
1.3 Advertising Data
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
- Device information for ad delivery
You can limit ad tracking through your iOS device settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking →
Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
1.4 Data We DO NOT Collect
We explicitly do NOT collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- User accounts or login credentials
- Precise GPS location data
- Contact lists or photos
- The specific values you convert (your conversion inputs/outputs are not transmitted to our servers)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
2.1 App Improvement
- Understand which features are most popular
- Identify and fix bugs
- Optimize app performance
- Develop new features based on usage patterns
2.2 Analytics and Research
- Analyze user behavior and trends
- Measure app engagement and retention
- Generate aggregated statistics

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share data with the following third-party services:

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. All data sharing is limited to the
services necessary for app functionality and improvement.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Storage Location
Your data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform) in secure data centers.
Firebase complies with industry-standard security practices.
4.2 Data Retention
- Analytics Data: Retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted
- Crash Reports: Retained for 90 days
- Local Data: Conversion history and preferences are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by deleting the app
4.3 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication for API access
- Regular security updates
- Firebase security rules to prevent unauthorized access
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Opt-Out of Tracking
You can limit data collection through your iOS device settings:
- Ad Tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Analytics: Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Toggle off "Share iPhone Analytics"
5.2 Opt-Out of Personalized Ads
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Toggle off "Personalized Ads"
- Visit Google Ads Settings to manage ad preferences
5.3 Delete Your Data
Since we don't collect personal accounts or identifiable information, your data is anonymous.
To remove all local data:
- Delete the Convert Anything app from your device
- This will remove all locally stored preferences and history
- Anonymous analytics data will be automatically deleted after the retention period
6. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact
us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including
the United States where Firebase servers are located. These countries may have different data protection
laws. By using our app, you consent to such transfers.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
- Posting an in-app notification for significant changes
- Updating this webpage
Your continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your information includes:
- Legitimate Interests: Analytics to improve app functionality and user experience
