Blind Button Press Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

Blind Button Press is made by David Hoogendam ("we"). The game does not ask you to create an account. Your progress stays on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is what our advertising and analytics partners need to show ads and to tell us how the game is used.

What we store on your device

Your current level, streaks, awards and the music setting are saved locally. We do not upload this to our own servers. Deleting the app deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows banner ads on the home, game, result and awards screens, and an interstitial after every three completed levels. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google receives technical information such as IP address, device model, operating system version and, if you allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA).

On iOS the app asks for permission before using the advertising identifier. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. This includes events such as which levels are started and finished, how far off the hold was, streaks, awards and anonymous crash reports. This is not linked to your name or email.

Game Center (Apple)

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app reports achievements and leaderboard scores to Apple. This is optional. Apple's Game Center privacy information: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/game-center/

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and is not in the Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
